On July 14, Shannen Doherty‘s death was confirmed by multiple outlets. Following a battle with stage 4 cancer, the late Beverly Hills, 90210 alum succumbed to her illness at the age of 52 after opening up about it with fans over the years.

Glynis Johns, among the last surviving actors of the golden age of Hollywood, died at the age of 100 on January 4, 2024 in Los Angeles. She’s known for her role as fiesty mother and suffragette Mrs. Banks in the original Mary Poppins, and an Oscar-nominated supporting role in The Sundowners.
Her manager, Mitch Clem, issued a heartfelt statement upon her passing.
“Glynis powered her way through life with intelligence, wit, and a love for performance, affecting millions of lives,” Clem said in a statement to Variety. “She entered my life early in my career and set a very high bar on how to navigate this industry with grace, class, and truth. Your own truth. Her light shined very brightly for 100 years. She had a wit that could stop you in your tracks powered by a heart that loved deeply and purely. Today is a somber day for Hollywood.
Not only do we mourn the passing of our dear Glynis, but we mourn the end of the golden age of Hollywood.”
Glynis was a mother of one and was married four times during her life. She died of natural causes after a century of life.
